And Petrified Forest National Park, hovenweep National Monument, some excellent sites of interest for any traveler to this area are Mesa Verde National Park. And some protection from the snakes and scorpions that also call this area home, be sure to bring good camping gear. And rent a good 4 wheel drive vehicle, it is a good idea to get a well detailed map. But perhaps the best is on your own, you can visit this area many different ways.
